Scott Powell has over 23 years of experience in international business development, sales, consulting and operations in both global firms and entrepreneurial ventures. Prior to joining Business Talent Group, he was a management consultant with a-connect and Clareo Partners, working in the high tech and aerospace defense sectors. Previously, he led Nucleus Research’s sales efforts to the senior leadership of over 50 West Coast high tech firms.
Mr. Powell also directed global sales development, strategic partnerships, and order management for Siebel Systems. Prior to Siebel, he was a consultant for Bain & Company in Munich and San Francisco serving automotive, consumer electronics and telecom clients.
Mr. Powell has a BA in Political Science, History, and German from the Colorado College, an MA in International Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He also served as a helicopter pilot in the US Army, flying combat missions in the Gulf War and commanding a combat helicopter unit. He now lives in the San Francisco area.
