Sandra Pinnavaia leads the company’s client development efforts and helped launch Business Talent Group in 2006. She has 18 years of experience as a management consultant, primarily focused on global health care and life sciences businesses and nonprofit organizations. She is also an experienced board director and active community leader.
Ms. Pinnavaia was educated as a scientist and joined McKinsey & Company as part of the first wave of the firm’s non-traditional hires. She consulted for eight years with McKinsey, emphasizing strategy and new business development in the health care industry with payers, providers, and manufacturers of pharmaceuticals and other health care products. Ms. Pinnavaia then consulted independently for 10 years, building a vibrant practice that focused on the strategic growth of nonprofit organizations and on the effectiveness of senior management teams and boards.
Ms. Pinnavaia was a Marshall Scholar. She holds an M.Phil. in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge, Trinity College, where she also founded UK Student Pugwash. She is a graduate of the Honors College at Michigan State University.
