Bio

Laura Klein has over 15 years of experience in consulting, strategy, and business development roles. She has completed numerous consulting engagements, first as a consultant at Bain & Company and later as an independent consultant. In addition, Ms. Klein founded and managed a business unit at Mainspring (sold to IBM), a fast-growing consulting firm focused on incorporating new technology to enhance business strategy. She ran the retained-client relationship business and developed a community of the 100 Fortune 500 clients.

Ms. Klein began her career at JP Morgan in the Emerging Markets Division, evaluating emerging markets around the globe and advising clients on the relative value of local market investments. She was a founding member of the team and became a Vice President.

Ms. Klein graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Bowdoin College, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. She studied at London School of Economics in the UK.

Ms. Klein is involved with several community initiatives focused on feeding the hungry as well as on improvements in public education. She lives in the greater Boston area.
