Brian Lafer is a Director of Client Development in BTG’s New York office. Lafer is responsible for introducing BTG’s distinctive model to executives at Fortune 1000 firms, mid-sized companies and private-equity-backed firms as well as serving as a relationship manager for client engagements. Previously, Lafer was an Assistant Vice President for five years in the Real Estate Consulting Group at U.S. Equities in Chicago, where he served as the primary client contact for significant office lease transactions and developed new business opportunities. He has a passion for developing mutually beneficial business relationships, understanding clients’ needs and executing assignments.
Lafer holds a BBA degree from University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business and was a 4-year walk-on player on the Wolverines football team. Originally from Farmington Hills, Michigan, Lafer currently lives in Manhattan.
