Founder and CEO

Jody Greenstone Miller, founder, chairwoman, and chief executive officer, has served in senior roles in business, government, media, law, and the non-profit world. Ms. Miller was a venture partner with Maveron, the Seattle-based venture capital firm, from 2000 to 2007. She was previously executive vice president and later acting president and COO of Americast, the digital television and interactive services partnership of The Walt Disney Company, SBC, Bell South, and other regional telephone companies. Ms. Miller also served in the White House as Special Assistant to President Bill Clinton, where she was Deputy to David Gergen, Counselor to the President.

Amelia Warren Tyagi
Co-Founder and COO

Amelia Warren Tyagi, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, has been a management consultant and entrepreneur, and is a nationally recognized writer.

Ms. Tyagi co-founded HealthAllies, a venture capital-backed health benefits firm which was later acquired by United Health Group, the second largest health insurer in the US. She has completed numerous consulting engagements, first as an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company and later as an independent consultant.

Senior Vice President and General Manager

Sandra Pinnavaia leads the company’s client development efforts and helped launch Business Talent Group in 2006. She has 18 years of experience as a management consultant, primarily focused on global health care and life sciences businesses and nonprofit organizations. She is also an experienced board director and active community leader.

Ryan Leventhal is Director of Client Development and Sales Operations in Business Talent Group’s New York Office. He is responsible for developing and managing relationships with partners and operations leaders at major private equity firms, as well as senior strategy, marketing, and business unit leaders at Fortune 500 and mid-market companies. Mr. Leventhal is also responsible for Business Talent Group’s sales operations, as well as management of the inside sales team.

Brian Lafer is a Director of Client Development in BTG’s New York office. Lafer is responsible for introducing BTG’s distinctive model to executives at Fortune 1000 firms, mid-sized companies and private-equity-backed firms as well as serving as a relationship manager for client engagements. Previously, Lafer was an Assistant Vice President for five years in the Real Estate Consulting Group at U.S. Equities in Chicago, where he served as the primary client contact for significant office lease transactions and developed new business opportunities. He has a passion for developing mutually beneficial business relationships, understanding clients’ needs and executing assignments.

Brian Lafer
Caroline Langsdorf Weinstein
Senior Director

Caroline Langsdorf Weinstein has served in a variety of marketing and strategy roles. Most recently, she worked at Neuberger Berman, an investment management firm in New York City. There she was responsible for marketing separately managed accounts to high net worth individuals. She also worked on strategic initiatives and special projects for the Private Asset Management organization, working closely with senior management to help determine the future direction of the business. Previously, Ms. Weinstein worked at Goldman Sachs. She worked in a relationship management role in the technology organization, interfacing with senior leaders across the Firm to manage strategic client relationships. She also worked in the Investment Management Division at Goldman in a marketing function. Ms. Weinstein began her career as a strategic management consultant at the ISO Health Care Group where she advised pharmaceutical and medical devices companies on strategic business issues.

Jill Miller Perrin has served for 17 years as an executive in Fortune 100 companies focusing on Brand Management, Direct Marketing, and General Management. Ms. Perrin worked in Consumer Banking before transitioning to a Consumer Marketing/Brand Management focus with Quaker Oats and General Foods (Altria/Kraft). Her career then broadened to include Direct Marketing and Business Leadership with both American Express and General Electric. Her most recent Executive position was with General Electric Appliances, serving as President of the $100MM Direct Marketing Service Contract business. Ms. Perrin is Six Sigma certified and trained as an executive coach.

Kala Loughrey has worked as an independent HR/Leadership/Coaching consultant since 1995. Recently she focused on leading seminars with the British-based firm, Lane4 Management Group Ltd, a global performance development consultancy which combines elite-sporting heritage and performance psychology to increase the performance in the business environment. Her clients included Roche Pharmaceuticals; DSM, a Dutch-based vitamin company; ExxonMobil; and Linklaters, a British-based law firm. Since 2004, she has continued to work with London Business School on their Leadership Program serving clients such as Roche and Nestlé. She aids the performance improvement of their top international leaders by facilitating small group sessions which focus on specific 360 degree developmental feedback coupled with individual coaching on action plans.
